The Dallas Arboretum promotes the arts, enjoyment and knowledge of horticulture, while providing an emphasis on family-oriented activities. There’s something for everyone from seasonal festivals, exhibits, and an opportunity for you to connect with nature in one of the top botanical gardens in America.

Enjoy the 5.2 acres of Klyde Warren park, filled with a diverse multitude of cultures and talents that Dallas has to offer. This wide open space is perfect for a family picnic or a good old game of tag. Kids can burn off energy in the Children’s Park or take their furry little friend to make new friends in the dog park! Explore the most popular trails in Getzendaner Memorial Park, 33-acres of pure nature and home to three wonderful playgrounds, hike and bike trails and now, thanks to a local Eagle Scout, a brand-spanking new Basketball court. This recreational park is great for all ages and perfect for a romantic date, or an outing that features areas for picnicking, playing, and exercising. The park also serves as an entrance for the nearby trail system that can be used for running, walking, or biking.
